Prof. Estroff acknowledging conference sponsors

The program that Professor Estroff created attracted attendees from all over the world including experts in assembly mechanisms, surfaces and interfaces, nanoparticle morphology and superlattice assembly, in-situ characterization of growth, bio-inspired crystallization, nanowires, growth of materials for energy technologies, molecular assembly and crystalization, and quasicrystals and colloids. The conference was very intense with poster sessions running into the wee hours of the morning as established scientists and students alike debated the latest findings in these and many other areas. Senior conference attendees commented that it was the best Gordon Research Conference they had ever attended.
