Master of Engineering (M.Eng.)

The Fall 2024 application for the MSE M.Eng. is due January 15, 2024, for priority admission; we continue to review applications on a rolling basis until May 1, 2024, as space allows.

The Cornell MSE Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) is a professionally oriented degree program designed to give students a competitive advantage in the workplace. Since “everything is made of something,” graduates can be found in almost every field related to physical sciences and engineering. Students coming directly from an undergraduate program typically join the professional ranks with higher starting salaries and advanced levels of responsibility; established professionals coming from industry typically gain access to higher salaries and increased upward mobility. Many students leverage this degree to pursue leadership careers in business, non-profit, and government. Cornell is one of only a few institutions in the U.S. to offer this type of program.
