Cameron Darkes-Burkey

Biography

Cameron joined the Shepherd Organic Robotics Lab in August 2018.  His interests lie in developing and advancing the science behind 3D printing functional materials. His passion for application based research that dances on the interfold between Smart, Responsive Materials with the field of Additive Manufacturing keeps him driven and excited to continue his pursuit of knowledge while on track for a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering..

He is originally from Lebanon, Pennsylvania and  graduated from Lafayette College with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering in May of 2018. He is very active and will most likely be found exploring different club and intramural sports, hiking, Swing Dancing, and taking various PE classes to expand his skills outside the Organic Robotics Lab.
