Rachel Dorin is a fourth year PhD candidate in the Wiesner group in the MSE department. Upon entering Cornell, she was awarded the McMullen and NSF GFRP fellowships to perform research on block copolymer based membranes for filtration applications, including water purification and protein filtration. Rachel’s academic program includes a minor is business and she maintains a keen interest in entrepreneurship. She participated in the MSE department’s first Oh Competition and acts as president of the Technology Entrepreneurship at Cornell (TEC) club. When not in the lab, Rachel enjoys weightlifting and playing jazz saxophone.
