Emmanuel Giannelis, Walter R. Read Professor of Engineering and Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Studies, has been named a member ofChemistry of Materials' 1K Club after his paper "Synthesis and Properties of Two-Dimensional Nanostructures by Direct Intercalation of Polymer Melts in Layered Silicates" was cited more than 1,000 times.
